I have been actively coaching for the last 6 years and bring a variety of experience and knowledge to you the client. I have been lucky to work with a variety of populations in Sport delivering FMS programmes to kids in Primary/Secondary Schools to Strength and Conditioning at Senior Intercounty.
I was Lead Strength and Conditioning coach with Kerry Senior Hurlers (2018-2020). I am currently Sport Scientist with Kerry Senior Footballers (2022- present)
With the General Population, I have assisted individuals in making positive change and getting back into a healthy lifestyle that has improved their quality of life and performance at home and professionally.
Performance is the keyword and shouldn’t be viewed that it is linked directly to Sport it is broader than that. Performance is our ability to accomplish or fulfill tasks and actions. These can encompasse Family life,Work life, Social life and we believe by engaging in a Physically Active lifestyle we can influence performance across these domains.
I graduated from Health Leisure w/ Fitness Professional from I.T Tralee in 2015 and currently pursuing my Postgraduate studies in Applied Sports Coaching from the University of Limerick. I am an active member on the Register of Exercise Professionals Ireland (REPS Ireland). I hold a Level 1 Precision Nutrition Coach certification and currently seeking to obtain my UKSCA accreditation.

I had ongoing hip issues that flare up when training and games were frequent. I was able to address these issues and now play pain free most of the time. I have seen improvements in my overall Strength. I have an ongoing goal to improve my speed on the field for my sport which we have been working on continuously. I am starting to feel the benefits of this and now have more confidence when in possession that I can easily get away from my opponent
During normal daily activities my hip issues have dramatically reduced. My performance levels on the pitch have increased and recovery from games has been much faster. The hip rehab has been spot on so far so looking forward to seeing more progress in the coming months I wasn't sure if it was the right time as we were still in the middle of my football season but the training has been completely tailored to take that into account. Has been the best decision I've made in years. Outside of improving my physical condition I've seen a massive improvement mentally as well.
The knowledge John has is unbelievable. I was able to get back playing hurling pain free and lose weight. I lost 10kgs and improved my lower back issues which was a bonus. A gentleman to work with he’s really at the top of his game.
